'Don Antonio Borsotto – Righteous Man of Israel' – presentation of Luca Lanave's book

On Friday 11 April , at 6 pm, in the rooms of the Casa Galimberti Museum in Cuneo (Piazza Galimberti, 6), Luca Lanave's book, 'Don Antonio Borsotto – Righteous of Israel', will be presented.

The years of World War II were particularly disastrous for the Cuneo area. The resulting climate of suspicion and fear placed the clergy in a sometimes distressing role, juggling the conflicting demands of denouncing injustice, exercising prudence to avoid further violence, and demonstrating solidarity with the abject poverty of many families, sharing the fears and risks of ordinary people. Don Antonio Borsotto is an emblematic figure, having been involved in the most diverse situations, as few of his brothers had experienced.

The event is part of the collateral events of the "Libera Azione" exhibition, organized by the Insieme Association of Cuneo and the Order of the Knights of the Langhe APS, with other collaborations, including the ACLI provinciali Cuneesi APS. The exhibition is open at Palazzo Samone, at Via Amedeo Rossi, 4 in Cuneo, with free admission, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
