Do you have any cocoa?
The Civic Library hosts the presentation of the novel Do You Have Any Cocoa? by Daniela Giambattista.
I warn you, this comedy romance is a bit ambiguous. It will piss you off like crazy (especially at me) and make you bite your hands in frustration. At a certain point, you'll even want to turn to paper, enter the book, and slap me.
But for the protagonist, as well as the author, at a certain point it became difficult to keep her feet on the ground, especially after meeting him, the protagonist of this story, enigmatic, mysterious, and elusive.
In short, dear readers, let's make something clear right away: if you're here looking for a happy ending, I recommend you choose another book. Yes, that's right, you read that right. In this story, there will be no declarations of love in the rain (at least not reciprocated), nor last-minute rushes to the airport to cancel a flight. There won't even be that moment when he realizes that the woman of his life has always been there, beside him.
This is just my version, the one of someone who fell for it—with style, of course—but fell for it anyway, hook, line, and sinker.
