The Riga-based choir "Kamēr..." is one of the most interesting groups in the Latvian and European choral scene.
Winner of numerous international competitions and creator of musical programs of great impact and conceptual depth, "Kamēr..." has developed an original vocal style over time, which, while maintaining its own coherence, is uniquely shaped by each artistic director.
Although classified as an amateur choir, its work ethic and extremely high standards of vocal performance are in no way inferior to those of the most renowned professional ensembles.
A curious fact: the choir's name "Kamēr...", ellipsis included, means "while, as long as..." in Latvian, and implies the idea of ​​infinite possibilities and prospects ("as long as... we are young, everything is possible").
This concert, in addition to concluding a high-level artistic season, concludes the journey that began in April with the masterclass and concert conducted by Maestro Ēriks Ešenvalds, of which the “Kamēr…” choir is among the most prestigious performers.
