CUNEO CLASSICA FESTIVAL 2025

The festival, born after the resounding success of Aida performed in Piazza della Costituzione in 2017, reaches its eighth edition with a series of events that will be partially linked to the history of our city.
Cuneo Classica Festival 2025 began with "80 Years of Freedom," an operatic concert with choir and piano featuring performances by the great choirs praising freedom and featuring Professor Gigi Garelli, director of the Institute of the Historical Resistance.
As per tradition, the festival will feature two operas:
"Nabucco" by G. Verdi, chosen to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation from Nazi-Fascism and performed on September 18th;
and on October 17th, "Don Pasquale" by G. Donizetti, an opera suitable for an adult audience, but also for students, who will be offered free admission in the morning.
"L'Amor brujo y zarzuela" will be performed at the Teatro Toselli on November 27th
in co-production with the Associação Cultural – Ópera Na Academia e Na Cidade do Porto – (Portugal), and Amici per la Musica di Cuneo, with the collaboration of the Liceo Artistico E. Bianchi, Maison de la Danse, and AFP di Cuneo.
