THERE WAS A TURNING POINT
Three characters inhabit the stage, attempting to communicate: to be, to exist, to accept one another, to be accepted, to see one another, to be seen. Two levels: distant and close. From afar: a voice that narrates, that explains, that challenges the characters, an adult voice that questions and, at times, challenges. From close up: the characters on stage vibrate, converse, dance, and meet; each with their own color and diversity. And in this overlapping of levels and different languages such as dance, theater, light, and color, words, gestures, and writing blend together to create a story that seeks to convey a simple message: pursue your dreams and your own inclinations by breaking away from preconceived notions and perhaps (why not?) trying to break them! Here is the real Turning Point!
