A PORTRAIT OF ME AND THE WORLD

ILLUSTRATION LABORATORY

A creative journey dedicated to children, where imagination takes center stage: in the workshop, each child will have the opportunity to share their stories and their unique way of observing and reinventing. Colors and simple materials will be the magical tools with which to give shape to emotions, dreams, and visions. A special opportunity to discover the joy of free expression, letting their imagination soar.
Workshop led by illustrator Daniela Costa.
Daniela Costa trained as an editorial illustrator at Ars in Fabula in Macerata. She has published children's books with publishing houses in Italy and abroad, and her work has received prestigious awards and recognition. She has been selected for the biennial Illustrating Life exhibition in Beijing and for international group exhibitions: "Le immagini della fantasia" (Sarmede), Estonian Children's Literature Centre (Tallinn), Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (United Arab Emirates). Three-time finalist for the illustrators' exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair (2020, 2024, and 2025) and awarded by the Autori di Immagini (Italia) association for the 2019, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Annual in the Children's Publishing category.
The event is part of the MULTICO – Multicolor Festival 2025, made possible thanks to the valuable contributions of the CRC Foundation, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, and the Banca di Caraglio, with the support of CSV Società Solidale. The initiative also enjoys the patronage of the Municipalities of Cuneo and Borgo San Dalmazzo and involves numerous local and international partners.
