The Book Club Cuneo

On Friday, February 28, the Civic Library will host a new meeting of “The Book Club Cuneo.”.

This month we will focus on Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.

The novel takes us on Toru Watanabe's journey as he grapples with love, loss, and the complexities of adulthood in 1960s Japan. Murakami's evocative narrative captures the fragility of human emotions and the poignant pull of memories. What makes this book unique is its ability to blend nostalgia and melancholy, exploring themes of mental health, relationships, and the profound impact of the past on the present. Murakami's lyrical prose paints a vivid portrait of a coming-of-age story set in a rapidly changing society.
