TELLING OTHER WOMEN ABOUT BICYCLING, AND MAYBE INSPIRE THEM: THE CCPINK EXPERIENCE

Serena Cugno grew up among men, and her adolescence was beautiful just the way it was; she wouldn't change it. However, it was precisely in those moments that she realized the world was made for men: from language to work, to certain stereotypes, and even the bicycle, her great love. She could have complained about this situation, but complaining isn't her thing; she believes in "productive thinking," so she took action to change something, even if it were just a drop in the ocean. This is how CCPink was born: an association that aims to be the ideal companion to ride with, because if you're not alone, it's easier to break certain patterns. That women should always be busy and never be able to have fun, for example. Or that a woman should always travel with a man who helps her look after her bicycle. There are many starting points to make a breakthrough; Serena Cugno chose a bicycle.
