Talk About Music – “Music Maker. The profession of the producer”

On Friday, April 11, at 6:00 pm, at the Michele Ferrero room of Confindustria Cuneo [via Bersezio 9], Francesco “Katoo” Catitti will be the protagonist of a talk entitled “Music Maker. The Producer's Profession.” A producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and composer from Rome, but residing in Milan, Katoo has written some of the biggest hits by Rkomi, Mahmood, Michele Bravi, and Marco Mengoni, among others. At Sanremo 2024, he co-wrote “Tuta Gold” (Mahmood) and “Un ragazzo una ragazza” (The Kolors). He is also part of the X Factor team, where he works alongside the contestants to prepare the songs for the stage. In Cuneo, he will share his experience and offer a masterclass focused on the theme of “know-how,” linked to the particular “artisanal” aspect that lies behind the production of an intangible artifact—music—through technique, study, and creativity. But also through the conscious use of new information technologies, just as indicated by the definition “maker”.
