Talk About Music – “Seeking Beauty”

On Wednesday, May 21st, at 6 pm, in the Michele Ferrero room of Confindustria Cuneo [via Bersezio 9], don't miss the talk "Seeking Beauty" with guest Dardust, the stage name of Dario Faini, one of the protagonists of Italian music of the last decade, who moves with equal talent and creativity between piano and contemporary classical music on the one hand, and experimental electronic music on the other. He has released six albums and over 500 million streams, and his music is a combination of influences ranging from Ryuichi Sakamoto to Moby. Born in Ascoli Piceno, he studied classical piano and developed a passion for electronic music, finding inspiration in artists such as David Bowie and Kraftwerk, and thus evolving over the years towards the meditative and reflective sound of his latest album "Urban Impressionism" (2024). Before his evening concert at the Teatro Toselli for "Città in note," Dardust will talk to Margherita Devalle at "Talk About Music" about his experience as a multifaceted artist who has been able to explore the various musical professions, building an extraordinary career and creating works capable of conveying a sense of authentic contemporary wonder.
