"Step by step, hand by hand": a popular festival to celebrate the eightieth anniversary of the Italian Republic

For the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Italian Republic, universal suffrage, and the beginning of the process that would lead to the writing of the Constitution, RESISTENZE invites all citizens to celebrate.

for Saturday, June 6th , featuring a journey that, starting with the experience of the Resistance, will lead to an understanding of the members of the Constituent Assembly who changed Italy's history.

The stages:
– 4:00 PM – Cuneo, Parco della Resistenza: meeting, readings, and departure by bicycle to the San Paolo neighborhood, crossing the city center;
– 4:30 PM – Piazza Biancani: readings related to the women of the Resistance and the Constituent Assembly, to whom several benches have been dedicated;
– 5:00 PM – Piazza della Costituzione: readings and transfer to Parco Parri with a "literary relay." At the park, Ferruccio Parri will be remembered, and the event will conclude with a shared snack.

Participation is free and open to the public: we invite you to spread the word, participate by bike or on foot, join the route at your favorite location, bring a blanket, food or drinks to share, something that makes noise or a musical instrument to celebrate together.
