Rodari Road

Rodari Road is not only a journey to introduce today's children to the timeless stories of a master of children's literature, but also a way to engage them in the great game of theatre and its rules.

“Pretend I'm not there. I mean, I'm there but you didn't see me, so when I come on stage it's a surprise for you. You're not there either. I mean, you're there but I didn't see you, so it's a surprise for me too!”

Thus begins the show, which explores theater as fiction, surprise, and a space for creativity. Like Gianni Rodari's stories and nursery rhymes, which still entertain, surprise, and inspire today.

Featuring nursery rhymes, rhyming stories, and narrative games inspired by Grammatica della fantasia and Marionette in libertà, the show offers a light-hearted and imaginative journey, firmly anchored in the themes of freedom, coexistence, and imagination.
