MONDOVISIONI – The life that remains
The first Mondovisioni event in Cuneo, a series of six documentaries on current affairs, human rights, and information, selected by Internazionale and CineAgenzia, is enriched by discussions with international guests.
We begin with the screening of “The Life That Remains” by Dorra Zarrouk (2024), which tells the story of a family fleeing war and what they are forced to leave behind.
Guests for the evening include Mario Soldaini (curator) and Haidar Al-Ghazali (Palestinian poet). Drawing on the book "Their Cry Is My Voice: Poems from Gaza" (Fazi Editore), they will discuss poetry as an act of resistance with Andrea Ceraso, with readings by Sara Rubeis.
