LILIANA

On Wednesday 14 January, at 9pm, at the Monviso cinema, on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2026, the screening of the film “Liliana” is scheduled, followed by a dialogue with the director Ruggero Gabbai and with Senator Segre's son, Alberto Belli Paci.

Presented at the 2024 Rome Film Fest (Special Screening), Liliana is a comprehensive and widely authorized portrait, which alternates between three narrative timeframes: the years of the racial laws, the Second World War and the concentration camps; the moment in which Segre first decides to talk about that experience, in the 1990s; and finally the present, in which the senator for life talks about herself as she returns to Pesaro, the place where she met her husband Alfredo Belli Paci in 1948, and to Milan.
