A family adventure at International House Museum Days

On the occasion of the International House Museum Days, scheduled for 18 and 19 April 2026, the Casa Galimberti Museum presents “Missione Museo Casa Galimberti”, a special initiative designed to involve families and children in an innovative, educational and fun visiting experience.

The activity offers a new way to experience the museum: not just a simple guided tour, but an interactive journey through stages that transforms the spaces of the House into a story to be explored. Each space becomes a place of discovery, where clues, objects, and details accompany visitors along a progressively unfolding narrative.

The protagonists of the experience are the little ones, welcomed as "little detectives." Through puzzles, questions, and clues scattered throughout the rooms, the children—along with their families—will be guided on a real mission: reconstructing the history of the Galimberti family, carefully observing and collaborating step by step.

"Mission Museo Casa Galimberti" was created with the goal of making the museum a vibrant and participatory space, capable of stimulating curiosity, imagination, and a spirit of collaboration between adults and children. It's an opportunity to introduce younger audiences to cultural heritage through play, storytelling, and hands-on experience.

The initiative is part of the broader program of International House Museum Days, which celebrates the value of historic homes as places of memory, culture, and identity internationally.
