Despresso

A poetic dance-theater about depression, diversity, and human encounters.
DEsPRESSO is a performance by Collettivo Clochart that delicately and powerfully addresses the themes of depression, diversity, and human connection. At the center of the performance are Viviana, a young woman experiencing profound emotional distress, and Giorgia, a young woman with Down syndrome who supports her with authentic presence and positivity, overturning conventional views of normality and support.
Through a language that blends dance-theater and clowning, the performance offers a sensitive reflection on the value of relationships and the need to build emotional and social support networks—especially in the context of "after us," that is, the future of people with disabilities when direct family support is no longer available.
Directed and written by Michele Comite, choreographed by Hillary Anghileri, and featuring a cast including Giorgia Benassi, Viviana Pacchin, and Stefania Favero, DEsPRESSO offers an emotional and engaging experience, suitable for audiences ages 6 and up.
