For Don Lorens, being a country parish priest almost always means a quiet life, few worries, and good meals in good company!
However, caring for his souls isn't so simple: two feuding heads of families involve him in their conflicts and prevent their children's engagements.
But the two lovers don't give up and force the poor priest to face and resolve the unfortunate situation, also with the help of a "lively" housekeeper.
