Celeste's fairy tale

A delicate and engaging show for the littlest ones, speaking to everyone in the universal language of color. Celeste's Fairy Tale, a production of La Piccionaia – Centro di Produzione Teatrale, is a show combining animation, live painting, and storytelling designed for boys and girls aged 3 to 7. The protagonists are the colors of the rainbow, with their symbolic, anthropological, and pedagogical meanings. At the center of the story is Celeste, a color who, through an initiatory journey of discovery and obstacles, learns to accept itself and find its place in the world. A simple and powerful metaphor for diversity, inclusion, and integration, fundamental themes addressed with lightness and poetry. The narrative is intertwined with live painting and animated figures, continuing Gianni Franceschini's artistic research into the role of painting within theatrical dramaturgy. The scenes take shape before the audience's eyes: colors, signs, and ornaments are created directly on stage, generating emotions and visual suggestions that accompany the story. A show that stimulates the imagination, educates the eye and invites us to recognize the value of differences from early childhood.
